About The Collectors Showcase WNY
Our History
The idea for a museum of collections,
specifically for "the extraordinary collections
of ordinary people," originated in 2000.
However, The Collectors Showcase of Western New York only held its grand opening on March 1, 2024.
Our Collections
Our seven distinct galleries include
extensive collections with hundreds of pieces each
as well as smaller samplings
of other large and varied collections.
Our Mission
The Collectors Showcase of Western New York
is a public venue for the display and viewing
of privately-owned collections.
It is committed to
keeping collections together,
promoting collectors' organizations,
and sharing the joy of collecting with others.
